What does Vettsafe do?
Vettsafe is the UK's first and only software that automates due diligence checks on brokers, solicitors and borrower companies (LTD/SPV) in one place for bridging lenders. Enter the firm and contact details once, and Vettsafe pulls results from the key registers, surfaces red flags and produces a credit-file-ready PDF with source links and evidence screenshots.
Which registers and sources are checked?
Companies House (including filing history, officers, persons with significant control, Gazette notices and director disqualification screening), the FCA Register, the SRA register and scam alerts, Law Society accreditations, trade bodies (NACFB/FIBA), the ICO register and email domain checks. Each check type runs the registers relevant to it.
What evidence do I get with each check?
Each finding is backed by a screenshot captured from the source website at the time of the check — for example the Companies House overview page, the FCA firm profile, the ICO register results and each officer's own page. Screenshots appear in the report and in the downloadable PDF, alongside the original source links.
What happens if something looks wrong?
Findings such as a dissolved company, a director disqualification match, a missing FCA authorisation or a suspicious email domain are flagged in red at the top of the report and in the PDF, so they are impossible to miss. Everything else is clearly marked as clear, review or manual check.
