Cookie Policy.

What Vettsafe stores in your browser, and why. Last updated: 1 October 2026.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores on your device. Similar data can also be kept in your browser’s local storage. This page explains exactly what Vettsafe stores and why.

2. What Vettsafe stores

  • Sign-in session (strictly necessary): when you log in, we store a session in your browser so you stay signed in as you move around the app. Without it, the signed-in area cannot work. This is cleared automatically when you sign out or the session expires.

That is all. We do not use analytics, advertising, social media or any other tracking cookies, and we do not allow third parties to set tracking cookies through this site.

3. Do we need to ask your consent?

No. UK privacy rules only require consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Because the only cookie Vettsafe sets keeps you signed in, no cookie banner is needed.

4. Register evidence screenshots

The evidence screenshots in your reports are captured on our servers, not in your browser, so the public register websites we visit during a check never set cookies or see your browsing on vettsafe.com.

5. Controlling cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and stop the signed-in area from working. To ask us anything about this policy, email contact@vettsafe.com.
